The 260th Military police Command is a unit of the District of Columbia Army National Guard. As a numbered, branch-oriented command organized under a Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE), the 260th is authorized an organizational flag in branch colors with the authorized shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) in proper colors centered. MP branch colors are green and yellow, so the flag has a green field with yellow fringe. The 260th's SSI is based on the coat of arms of George Washington, with an upright sword symbolizing readiness and the scales of justice symbolizing the MP mission.
